An adaptation of traditional wooden laquer trays and kneading bowls found extensively across Southern India, the Bowl Table can be used as both table and tray. To use as a tray, simply and easily remove the legs. This keen feature also serves another purpose, by reducing the cost and energy spent on transportation.
The bowl is turned manually on the lathe, showcasing the skill of the `Kharaadi’ or the wood turning community, thereby supporting local skills. The legs are made of mild steel, machined out of rods. The finishing is done with lead free water based PU lacquers.
